Walks Program
NOTE: No more email requests for walk changes will be accepted after 9am on Thursday Oct 17. Any walk change requests after that time must be made in person at the Registration Hall in Lorne.

Choose 1 walk for each day. Click on the name of the walk to see the walk description and map. Take the time to fully consider all details of your walk to ensure it is within your capability. An overview map of where each walk will start is at the bottom of the table. Note that Walk 15 is on Saturday only and Walk 24 on Sunday only.
Please register early at the Registration Hall, at 2 Otway Street, Lorne, and gather well ahead of your walk assembly time where you see your walk number displayed in the Hall. Your walk group will depart very shortly after the assembly time, as it is some distance from the Registration Hall to where the drivers’ cars or the bus transport will be located."

Easy: 8 – 12 km. Walking on formed tracks through level or gently undulating terrain. Typically 12 km would take 4 – 5 hours walking at a relaxed pace.
Medium: 10 -16 km. Walking on formed or well marked tracks. May include short off track sections and/or some climbs and descents. Typically 16 km would take 5- 6 hours (walking time). Applies to shorter walks in more difficult terrain and longer walks in easier terrain.
Hard: 12 – 20 km. Walking on and off tracks through undulating terrain with sustained climbs and descents. May involve rough terrain, thick scrub and/or rock scrambling. Typically 20 km would take 6 to 8 hours (walking time). Applies to walks with a shorter distance but with difficult terrain or long walks which are less difficult.
